James Love, licensed funeral director since 1970
I am one of the owners of the company.  I started with the company January 1, 1971.  I am a member of the Serra Club of Lincoln, the Optimist Club of Lincoln, St. Joseph's Catholic Church and involved with several organizations such as the board of Directors of the Serra Club of Lincoln, Knights of Columbus, and the Matt Talbot Kitchen.

Patrick McCashland
Co-owner and part of BML family since his high school years. Pat is a licensed pilot;  a member of St. Peter's Parish as well as a member of Rotary Club 14 and Elks #80. Pat and his wife Courtney have 4 children who keep him busy with soccer, music, and other activities.

John started with the company in 1991 and is the 3rd generation of the Love family to be part of Butherus, Maser & Love.  He is a member of the Serra Club of Lincoln, Cornhusker Kiwanis and the Knights of Columbus.  John and his family are parishioners at St. Michael’s Catholic Church.  John enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, extended family and friends as well as time in outdoor activities.

Todd Biester
Married father of 4.  Very active in his children's sports & school activities. Member of the Sesostris Shrine.  Enjoys working on his parents farm near Geneva whenever possible. Licensed Funeral Director since 1991.

Andy Elliott Diane Butherus

Andy & Chrissy enjoy spending time with their daughter, Kaylee and
two black labs, Ace & Jade. They all enjoy the outdoors,
motorcycling and camping. Smoking various cuts of meat is also a family event which is always enjoyed by friends, neighbors and co-workers.
Andy is a member of the Masonic Lodge #256 of Lincoln, Scottish Rite and the Sesostris Shrine. He is also licensed in the State of Kansas.

Diane Butherus
Wife of late owner Leroy Butherus.  Enjoys time with grandchildren and traveling.  Active in many community activities and church groups.

Pre-need Seller’s license in Nebraska Rick has an Architectural Drafting Degree.  He is active in Lincoln, Elks Club and is the Past President Toastmasters Club.   Rick enjoys the outdoors, especially hunting, camping and golf.  Rick is an avid professional football fan but loves nothing better than spending time with my grandchildren.

Laurie McAdams worked in the field of Aging for 30 years and retired from the City of Lincoln. She came to Butherus, Maser & Love to serve as a Family Service Representative in the pre-need department. Laurie enjoys all kinds of music, reading, gardening and watching sports in her free time. She is a member of the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) and Women in Sales & Business (WISB).
