Schuttler, Francis


 

Francis Lee Schuttler, son of Francis and Lorraine (Hansen) Schuttler, was born on October 10, 1942 in Oswego, Kansas and passed away on April 12, 2017 at his residence. He was 74 years old.

Memorial Service will be Friday April 21, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Butherus, Maser, & Love Funeral Home in Lincoln (4040 A Street) with a visitation one hour prior to service.

Francis graduated from high school in Gary, South Dakota. After high school he joined the Air Force where he served his country for three years. In November of 1963 he married Patricia Patton in Yankton, South Dakota. Francis spent most of his working career as a mechanic for the Lincoln Water System. He enjoyed motorcycles, guns, and bow hunting. He was skilled with a bull whip and performed at Fremont Days and competed in fast draw competitions.

He is survived by his wife Patricia Schuttler, daughter Teresa Schuttler, son David (Julie) Schuttler, grandsons Colby (Jimi) Schuttler and Bohen Schuttler, great-granddaughter Arianna, step-great-granddaughters Trynity and Eden; brothers Doug, Dan, George, and Tom, step-sister Sharie Stockfeld, step-brother Dan, and half-sister Kimberly Van Pelt.

Francis was preceded in death by his parents Francis and Lorraine, and his brother Jim Schuttler.

Memorials can be made out to the family for further designation.
