Malena, Ronnie D.

Ronnie D. Malena, 76, of Lincoln, passed away on January 3, 2018 at his home
surrounded by family. Mr. Malena was born September 9, 1941 to Clarence & Julia
(Lefavour) Malena in Madison, NE.
Ronnie retired from Gooch’s Mill as a foreman. He also served in the United
States Navy as a gunner. Ronnie and wife Marjorie retired in Texas and returned
to Nebraska to be near family. They shared 50 years of marriage.
Preceded in death by his parents; wife.
Survived by children, Sue (Avery) Quakenbush, Kellee (Alfredo) Kucera-Moreno,
Michael Malena (Erika Whalen), Bruce (Cindy) Kucera; brother, Larry (Shirley)
Malena; nine grandchildren, Tiffany (Dane) Tiedeman, Hailee (Sebastiano)
Quakenbush, Josslynn (Matt) Lovik, Lane Malena, Gage Malena, Vivian Stopak,
Tyler Thornburg, Avnicia (Brandon) Scerini, Melissa (Christopher) Hart; thirteen
great-grandchildren, Jasper Tiedeman, Emorie Quakenbush, Ayden Nelson-Owens,
Avada Lovik, Kendrick Jensen, Evelyn Stopak, Paisley Hulbert, Kali Hulbert,
Brooklyn Stopak, Jace Blade, Sora Jensen, Luke Findley, Beau Findley; many
nieces, nephews & cousins.
A Celebration of Ronnie’s Life will be 4:00 PM on Saturday, January 6, 2017 at
Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home, 4040 A Street, Lincoln 68510. Inurnment
will be at a later time next to his wife in the Battle Creek Cemetery.
