Oenbring-Karr, Candace K.
Candace K. Oenbring-Karr, 75, of Lincoln, passed away suddenly Saturday,
March 3, 2018, at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Born in Lincoln on August 3, 1942,
Candace was raised in Lincoln. Attending both Lincoln High School and Southeast
Community College, Candace attained an Associate’s Degree. Candace was a
longtime employee of the state of Nebraska working at the Lincoln Regional
Center. After leaving that job, Candace worked in home health care as a state
contractor for many, many years.
She is survived by: daughter Julie, sons, Jeff and James. Grandchildren are
many: Matthew, Caden, Saycia, Micah, Serenity, Torin, Colby, and Tyler. Also
included are many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents; sister Dixie, Grandson, Mitchell and nephew
Memorial services for Candace are scheduled for 2 PM Friday, March 9, 2018.

|This is such a shock, I can't believe it. I will miss Candy, but remember all of the good times we had in the past. I'm sorry for your loss Steve, and will hopefully see you tomorrow.

|This incredible woman took me in and gave me a chance at making something out of myself. I love her more than my own mother. I wish the miles weren't such an issue. I did see her a couple years ago and visited a bit and caught up some. I think of her often, particularly when I hear myself laughing like her. I hope the years between were good. I miss you always. I'm forever grateful for you.
