Rest in Peace old friend. Surely you have already been welcomed home in Heaven and God has told you how proud He is of you. Your service here is done but not forgotten. You were the best to work with at Red Cross and I appreciate all the guidance you gave me. Run free now. Go play with the Angels.

I worked with Sue at the American Red Cross. She was always right there to help out wherever she could. She always had a twinkle in her eye when she would talk about her family. She loved to tell stories about adventures with her sister and her family and of course her love Kenny. We loved that Sue was always willing to bring in her baking treats for us to taste. They were always so good. I remember on one occasion she even made me a special cake, cherry chip, for my birthday. I will miss Sue’s smile, love for life and her giving heart. I know where she is now she is not in any pain and enjoying kisses from her furbaby.

Sue and I worked together for many years at the Red Cross in Lincoln. I recall Sue’s love for her Mom, Kenny and her family. She was so dedicated to her job and I believe saw it not as a job but as a mission. She loved helping people. It broke my heart to hear of Sue’s struggles in recent months but I know she was faithful and now in a place where she will be comforted. God bless you Sue.

Loved working with Sue at Red Cross. We had some crazy times that included walking across a train trellis, hanging out with the governor, her favorite - hanging out with the NE football players, canteening the LPS fire all night, crazy days covering the National Special Olympics, serving at Matt Talbot and the list could go on and on. Sue had an incredible heart and made a big impact on many in our community. One of the best!

I worked with Sue, as a volunteer, at the RedCross. I am so sad to read of her passing. I really thought she was a great person and was very happy for her when she started working at Matt Talbot thinking this is where she can really feel a sense of fulfillment. Again, so very sad.
