Emil “Curly” Trouba, age 90 years of Lincoln, passed away March 12, 2018.
Curly was born February 7, 1928, on the family farm near Touhy, Nebraska, to
Rudolph and Lucille (Rezac) Trouba. He served in the Army during the
Korean War from August 1951 to August 1953. Curly worked at Goodyear in
Lincoln for 42 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, going for walks
and spending time with his grandchildren. Just like he lived his life, he
went to his Lord and Savior strong and determined.

Daughter: Kathi (husband Fred) Engen of Tucson, AZ
Grandchildren: Maddison Cole of Tucson, AZ and Cameron Cole of Platte City, MO.
Sister: Adeline (husband Joe) Palensky of Lincoln, NE
Brother: Marvin (wife Jeanie) Trouba of Lincoln, NE
Brother: Duane (wife Paulette) Trouba of Lincoln, NE
Sister-in-law: Phyllis Trouba of Omaha, NE
Many nieces and nephews
He is preceded in death by his parents and four brothers and 3 sisters-in-law.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, March 16, 2018, at
St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 7601 Vine St, Lincoln, with Father Lyle
Rosary will be at 7:00 pm on Thursday at the church
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to St John the Apostle
