Those we hold most dear, never truly leave us. They live on in the kindness they showed, the comfort they shared and the joy they brought into our lives. Joy was one such individual. So sorry to hear about this, Jill Jamie and family. She was at every softball game, usually sharing homemade cookies. I can still hear her cheering on Jamie as she rounded the bases. May your memories help you through this difficult time.

Joy was a longtime friend of our family as her Mom worked with my Dad at Peru State College and they attended church with us at Bethel Community Church. I always enjoyed my conversations with Joy. She was very proud of her kids/grandkids. She will be missed by many.

I will always remember her smile, her laughter, her welcoming attitude and just a bit of her stubbornness and fierceness of living life on her terms. I am grateful to have known her while working with her at Roads and am sending prayers to help the family during this difficult time. Rest in Peace Joy, you will be missed.

I got to know Joy when she worked for the Dept. of roads. She was a very talented lady and helped me out many times with inventory. I had just seen her on tv last week and it brought back great memories of working with her. She is probably up there right now helping out where she is enjoying being pain free. I never thought she was fully credited with all she did for the dept. Just know in your hearts she was very appreciated she will be missed your in our thoughts and prayers
